We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental and orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding experience every time you visit our practice.
We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I love getting to know our patients and helping them get the dental care they need, all while building relationships with them. This is a practice where our doctors and team are always focused on delivering great care based on a person’s specific needs, which makes for happy patients with healthy, beautiful smiles. They come for their visits looking forward to seeing us, and we look forward to seeing them, too. I interact with our patients to find financial arrangements that work for their treatment needs and budget, and coordinate their dental benefits and insurance claims.
Away from work, you’ll most often find me spending time with my family. My husband Brian and I have been married since 2002 and we have three wonderful children: Addison, Alexa, and Trenton. We enjoy Pirate games, exercising, and playing outside.
Patient and Financial Coordinator
Meeting and getting to know our patients, watching smile makeovers, and seeing how happy patients are at the end of treatment when they have an amazing new smile, are all great parts of my job. We have some of the best patients in the world and I love that we develop long-term relationships with them and their families. My work duties involve scheduling and coordinating patient appointments in a way that works best for their availability. I also help patients make financial arrangements so they can get the care they need, when they need it, and I coordinate dental insurance benefits, as well.
When I’m not here at the office, I enjoy quilting and am learning to paint with acrylics. I’m active with my church and in hospice care. My husband and I have been married for 33 years, and have two wonderful daughters as well as two incredible grandchildren.
By far, my favorite part of my job is establishing relationships with my patients and helping them achieve optimal dental health. Those relationships make me smile, and I love providing care to wonderful people. My days are spent on patient care, including taking and interpreting X-rays, placing sealants, administering fluoride, and delivering preventive oral hygiene. I spend a lot of time educating patients about oral health and how to keep their mouth healthy and well between their regular visits to our office. Seeing those happy, healthy smiles at a recall visit lets me know my patients are taking my advice to heart.
I’m very family-focused, and choose to spend time with my husband and three beautiful children, Casey, Jared, and Rylee. I’m also a first-time grandmother to a handsome grandson, Reece.
My days are spent working with and helping our patients, which means I get to know them on a personal level. I enjoy their stories and learning about their lives. Each person is unique and I find their interests and experiences fascinating. I educate our patients, and provide chairside assistance to our doctors during procedures, to ensure they have everything they need. My focus, though, is always on our patients, checking to make sure they are comfortable and keeping them updated on how much progress we’re making.
During my time off, I keep busy with my husband of 36 years, with whom I have four grown children and 10 grandchildren. I love sports and camping, and have been singing for 30 years in my church choir. Life is good and I am blessed.
I love talking with our patients, making sure they feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed during their visit. I’ve found that if a patient starts to open up and talk about their day, their family, and their interests, and we start to build a relationship, they feel happier in our care. And I want them to be happy! I greet patients when they arrive and check them in. At the end of their visit, I check them out and ask them how everything went. I also coordinate schedules, confirm patient appointments, and do charting.
When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with my two wonderful children, Daniel and Katelyn. I love the outdoors, whether I’m swimming, going to the park, or taking my kids for walks in the woods.
Helping our patients, and developing long-lasting relationships while doing so, are what I love most about my work. I provide one-to-one care for patients, so we spend time talking as I ask about their oral hygiene practices, diet, habits, and lifestyle. The more I learn about their lives, the better I can advise them on solutions to keep their mouth healthy. I offer patient education, deliver local anesthetics, take and read dental X-rays, and perform preventive dental hygiene tasks. I love having a smiling patient at the end of a visit and do my best to ensure that happens.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, and going to spin class. I graduated from Liberty University in 2012 and love learning about oral health and how it’s connected to overall body wellness.
I love being able to help people, meeting them and building relationships as I assist with their dental needs and concerns. Our conversations are always interesting and the more they are willing to share with me about their life, the better I am able to help them. I am an educator, first and foremost, focusing on making sure my patients know the importance of good oral hygiene and how best to maintain it at home. My other duties include preventive oral health, administering fluoride and local anesthetic, placing sealants, and taking radiographs.
My home life is shared with my husband Matt and our Cocker Spaniel, Bella. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and, of course, our dog. My motto? Live, laugh, love!
It’s incredible to work in a practice where everyone on the team, from the doctors through each staff member, respects and supports each other, and that allows us to provide great care for our patients, which is what’s most important. Our patients appreciate the care that we deliver and they tell us so, with their smiles, their referrals, and bringing their family members to us. My duties include providing assistance and support as a doctor performs a dental procedure, while checking in with the patient to make sure they’re comfortable and relaxed. I also educate patients about post-op care.
I have many hobbies, and enjoy shooting pool and bowling. I’m a positive person who believes in treating others the way I’d like to be treated. I’m also a former gymnast and a huge fan of the Bucs. Let’s go, Bucs!
