We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental and orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding experience every time you visit our practice.
We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I have experience in many aspects of dentistry. Following several years as a dental assistant I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. I love to help people with their dental goals. I enjoy the dental relationships with my patients. In addition to dental hygiene, I take X-rays, place sealants and administer fluoride to prevent decay. I believe prevention and education are the core to achieving optimal oral health. It is exciting and rewarding to see patients advance towards and achieve their preventive and restorative dental treatment.
Patient and Financial Coordinator
Meeting and getting to know our patients, watching smile makeovers, and seeing how happy patients are at the end of treatment when they have an amazing new smile, are all great parts of my job. We have some of the best patients in the world and I love that we develop long-term relationships with them and their families. My work duties involve scheduling and coordinating patient appointments in a way that works best for their availability. I also help patients make financial arrangements so they can get the care they need, when they need it, and I coordinate dental insurance benefits, as well.
When I’m not here at the office, I enjoy quilting and am learning to paint with acrylics. I’m active with my church and in hospice care. My husband and I have been married for 33 years, and have two wonderful daughters as well as two incredible grandchildren.
I love being a part of the My Best Smile team! I respect the knowledge, kindness and excellent skill of our doctors that enables us to provide the best dental care possible. The teamwork and the upbeat attitudes shown from all of the staff make each day a great day. The best part of my job is talking to the patients and helping them feel better about their dental care by providing a calm atmosphere while getting to know them on a more personal level. I love seeing how the change in a patients smile can transform their life. My duties include providing assistance and support as a doctor performs a dental procedure, while making sure our patient is comfortable. Once the procedure is over I help educate them about post-op care.
My home life is shared with my husband of 26 years, two sons and three granddaughters. Exercising, gardening, cooking and traveling are a few hobbies I really enjoy. For the past 15 years I have volunteered as a Sunday school teacher at my church. I always try to find the joy in everyone I meet and in everything I do.
What I love about my job is being able to establish relationships with patients and to help them feel healthy. Everyone deserves to smile and have the confidence to concur what life throws at them. My duties include providing patient education, assisting the doctor during procedures, taking x-rays, placing fillings, sealants and administering fluoride. My main focus is for patients to feel comfortable and relaxed so they leave with a smile on their face.
Outside of work my husband Collin and I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to the gym and hitting the bike trails!
By far, my favorite part of my job is establishing relationships with my patients and helping them achieve optimal dental health. Those relationships make me smile, and I love providing care to wonderful people. My days are spent on patient care, including taking and interpreting X-rays, placing sealants, administering fluoride, and delivering preventive oral hygiene. I spend a lot of time educating patients about oral health and how to keep their mouth healthy and well between their regular visits to our office. Seeing those happy, healthy smiles at a recall visit lets me know my patients are taking my advice to heart.
I’m very family-focused, and choose to spend time with my husband and three beautiful children, Casey, Jared, and Rylee. I’m also a first-time grandmother to a handsome grandson, Reece.
My days are spent working with and helping our patients, which means I get to know them on a personal level. I enjoy their stories and learning about their lives. Each person is unique and I find their interests and experiences fascinating. I educate our patients, and provide chairside assistance to our doctors during procedures, to ensure they have everything they need. My focus, though, is always on our patients, checking to make sure they are comfortable and keeping them updated on how much progress we’re making.
During my time off, I keep busy with my husband of 36 years, with whom I have four grown children and 10 grandchildren. I love sports and camping, and have been singing for 30 years in my church choir. Life is good and I am blessed.
Being a Dental Hygienist allows me the opportunity to help transform a patient’s smile with my skills as a clinician and through education. I studied Dental Hygiene at Middlesex Community College in Bedford, Massachusetts. As an ex-spouse in the military I have had the opportunity to practice dental hygiene in Massachusetts, Florida and now Pennsylvania. My passion for dentistry has never diminished and I continue to enjoy my work today. My duties as a dental hygienist includes assessment of medical histories, provide routine and non-surgical periodontal dental care , administer fluoride treatments, taking radiographs and education to maintain oral health.
On a more personal note, I enjoy family gatherings and am a proud mother of three children, Tracey, Travis and Lance, and one grandchild, Megan. I enjoy reading, museums, history, cultural and performing arts. Last winter I got back into downhill skiing with a few minor spills. I spend time with friends supporting The City of Champions, browsing antique shops on a rainy day, kayaking, walking North Park and love most of all, International travel.
My favorite part about my job, aside from working with some of the best people I know, would be the patients. Getting to know them and seeing them smile is one of the highlights of my day. It is a blessing to work in an office who cares so deeply about our patients. My goal is to make sure each patient is smiling when they walk in and out of the door. I look forward to building relationships with all my patients and gaining their trust. My work duties focus around finding financial arrangements for patients that best fit their needs and budget, insurance claims, scheduling appointments, etc.
When I am not working then I am spending time with my daughter and watching her grow into this amazingly beautiful little person.
As the Business Manager of our well established office, I strive to provide our patients with a consistent, courteous experience. I have been in this industry for 35 years and want to provide clear answers regarding the financial responsibilities for our services. Our office participates with most insurance companies and although the benefits provided are contracted through our patient's employers; it is my goal to act on the patient behalf for determining their expenses and in any insurance disputes.
I enjoy the people interaction in my work, friends and staying busy with creative "handiwork", scrap booking and being outside any time!
Helping our patients, and developing long-lasting relationships while doing so, are what I love most about my work. I provide one-to-one care for patients, so we spend time talking as I ask about their oral hygiene practices, diet, habits, and lifestyle. The more I learn about their lives, the better I can advise them on solutions to keep their mouth healthy. I offer patient education, deliver local anesthetics, take and read dental X-rays, and perform preventive dental hygiene tasks. I love having a smiling patient at the end of a visit and do my best to ensure that happens.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, and going to spin class. I graduated from Liberty University in 2012 and love learning about oral health and how it’s connected to overall body wellness.
Dental Hygienist / Dental Assistant
I am a dental hygiene and dental assistant graduate of Fortis Institute in Erie, PA. My favorite part about my career is making people smile by the end of their appointments. I makes a huge difference to my patients after they can see the before and after results. I enjoy getting to know people. This dental office isn’t just a practice, we are a family and we work together as a team. On my days off, I enjoy spending time with my daughter. She brings so much joy. We love going on adventures, camping, cooking and baking. We also love going to church on Sundays and spending time with our families.
