Toothache:
-
Remove trapped food with toothbrush and / or floss.

Rinse with warm salt water.
-
Take an OTC pain medicine, like Extra Strength Tylenol.

NEVER put these pills directly on soft tissue. They will burn it.

If pain persists, dab area with clove oil or swish with cool peppermint tea.
Knocked Out Tooth - SAVE IT! Do not scrub or touch the root.

If dirty, rinse in water.
-
Try to replant it. Make sure the front faces the front.

Best results when replaced ASAP.

If you can’t replant it, place it in a zip-lock baggie with water or milk.
-
See the Dentist ASAP.
Bleeding
-
Lips, tongue, cheek, gums due to trauma - apply ice with gentle pressure for 15 minutes.

If bleeding persists, go to the nearest Emergency Room.
Lost Filling
-
Remove trapped food with a toothbrush and / or floss.
-
Rinse with warm salt water.
-
If sensitive, place a cotton ball lightly dampened with clove oil in the hole.
-
Temporarily fill the hole with chewed sugar free gum or orthodontic wax.
Abscess (a “pimple” on the gum)
